You can cut by the sissors line on the board to DIY per your need. There are two extra wires reaching out on both ends, one is positive and the other is negative.

They are for the extra power supply in parralle connection when you want to connect more than one strip. DC5V power supply not include. You need an extra power adapter Min. 35W;DC5V and an extra special remote controller Min.
