Mathmos / Crestworth Galaxy Refurbished LED Light Beautiful Colours
This is a beautiful Crestworth Galaxy which has had a bit of a hard life but has been professionally refurbished and is in full working order. The perspex dome has 2 small cracks in it which have been repaired and can be hidden so they are not visible face on. They also are only visible in daylight, when the Galaxy is on you can't see them. There is also some minor scratching / scuffing on the top which again isn't very visible in daylight but you cannot see it at all when the Galaxy is up and running. I always think its best to be completely honest about any issues with these items as they are 50 years old and so very rarely in'perfect' condition. This this really is a stunning Lamp which you can see in the pictures. The colours it produces are vibrant and beautiful and this model has been converted to use an LED bulb which means the transformer is no longer used which is one less thing that can go wrong and LED bulbs last much longer than halogens so you shouldn't ever need to change it. It also has a brand new colour wheel motor which is the one thing that usually goes wrong on these as the gears wear out. Because the LED only produces a small amount of heat the enclosure no longer needs to be cooled so the fan has been removed as it is no longer required and this means it runs almost silently. This Galaxy now only has 1 moving part which is brand new. I also have a brand new exact replica stand which can be supplied with the item at an additional cost.
Local collection from London and surrounding area including Reading and Surrey is preferred as this item is delicate but I will post and it will be very well packaged.
